"Hey, I'm Rishab! I'm a senior from the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science in the United States. I created this organization out of a shared frustration among high school students over the lack of medical internship and volunteer opportunities; summer's not meant for students like us to stay cooped up sending email after email to no avail! When it comes to my own interests, I'm really into neuroscience and general surgery."

Author
"Hi! I am Sriaditya Vaddadi, Class of '26 at the Massachusetts Academy of Math & Science @ WPI! I am a part of MedUnity's media team. I wanted to join MedUnity, and specifically their media team, because I feel that many science classes in school tend to gloss over many of the practical applications of science. When it comes to finding internships, such as those in the medical field, many students are left stranded. Therefore, as someone who is both looking to work in the STEM field as well as someone who loves to write, I felt that MedUnity would be a perfect fit for me! Outside of STEM and writing, I also love to play chess, piano, and trombone. I am also a big fan of robotics, and I am currently on FRC Team 190 (Gompei and the Herd)'s software team!"

Buhua Liu
"I am Leo Liu or Buhua Liu. I'm from HeiLongJiang China. Currently, I'm living in Dalian and I'll start my senior year in Dalian American International School in the following semester. I chose to join MedUnity because personally, I had great interest in medicine and the medical field. Also, I had noticed the limited resources students could find when they try to find medicine related voluteer opportunities in China. With personal experience, I had tried to find a volunteering opportunity. I found there's only a few organisations that provides volunteering program, and they all charge way higher then what people usually expected. This circumstance had made many students not to attend or participate in volunteering programs that they wanted. Therefore, I want to join MedUnity so that more students who are interested in medical field could participate in more programs and develop further interest could get their chance."
Zuri Qu
"Hello all, I am Zuri, and I’m a senior at Dalian American International School. I am a Chinese-American/Chinese-Canadian. Some things that I am extremely interested in are soccer and Model UN, in which I participate and contribute regularly as varsity captain and the new Secretary-General of DAISMUN (or you can say email-writing workaholic). Fun fact about me: I’m a Manchester City and Messi fan! Being part of the Chinese board of MedUnity is a valuable experience for me as I strive to introduce international students like me to volunteer and internship opportunities where individuals can learn about these respective fields from professional personnel, and also polish their college applications with these experiences. Understanding the struggles in finding an adequate occupation, I am determined to help the international student community and open the boundaries for teenagers to develop insight into the medical field. If you need help, contact MedUnity!"
